The owners were very welcoming and breakfast was brilliant. The house had a lovely atmosphere and on the whole I loved it.
Dislikes:
The only downside for me was that you were asked to take your shoes off before going upstairs and I found this a bit inconvenient and time consuming.

"Could not have asked for a friendlier stay"
We were racing at Castle Combe and needed overnight accommodation. This is a working farm, and is therefore a bit more interesting than your standard B&B.
We we greeted on arrival by the owner and his wife, who were naturally friendly without being over familiar.

The rooms are large and airy, with excellent facilities. The wifi worked faultlessly.

Breakfasts were excellent, and enough to set one up for the day! With fresh eggs, bacon and sausage accompanied with home baked bread. Read less

"A welcoming, peaceful family home"
Well received and escorted to our room by Julian and daugher. Layout of ensuite, TV and tea making explained well. An extremely comfortable double bed. Breakfast was an absolute delight. After enjoying cereal and fruit juice the cooked breakfast was superb suppoeted by warm brown bread and marmalade. Coffe and tea were supplied in generous amounts. We purchase somme eggs to take away which are going down well. It was a great restful 24 hoursin the country with a view into a working farm. Read less

I was made to feel very welcome by everyone. The Manor Farm is a beautiful true english working farm house in the most exquisite village I have ever come across. The room was very clean, comfortable and blissfully quiet. The purpose of my stay was for business, but I can't wait to bring my family down to stay and explore this beautiful part of England. Overall rating: 4.7 out of 5
We were tired after a long journey. The welcome was warm and friendly and we were pleased by our room, large, comfortable with all the facilities that we required. It was beautifully quiet and after a meal at the Neeld Arms close by we had a lovely sleep. Our breakfast was lovely, great coffee, freshly made bread and fresh eggs from the farm. Very pleasant and we felt welcomed.
